My Happy Holiday ! :D (Holiday in Singapore with my mom and sister part 1)

Hey all, i noticed that i haven't put a new entry for quite a long time, well that's because i'm really busy with my study (it appears that this semester is busier than i thought). But that's alright, it's a thing that i should enjoy right? hehe... Anyway, i want to continue the story about my Happy Holiday.. the final story is the time where me, my mom, and my sister went to Singapore just for three days, but it was really fun ! 

me and my sister actually planned this from quite a long time ago, but with my unclear schedule from my campus and her busy schedule at work, it looked like our plan were failed and i already thought that i would spent my semester holiday just at home... but suddenly, when i chatted with my sister through yahoo messenger, she said that her schedule is changed and she'd like to take me and my mom to a holiday ! at first she really wanted to go to Hongkong, but her schedule made it really unlikely if we went to place like Hongkong that needs at least 4-7 days of holiday, so we decided we went to Singapore just for three days (Sunday-Monday-Tuesday). At the same day, my sis booked the flight and hotel. It was kind of sudden but it went well eventually... :)

Friday my sister arrived at Jakarta from Balikpapan, and we went to Singapore Sunday morning. when we arrived at Singapore and on our way to the hotel my sister suddenly remembered that she forgot her cellphone at the terminal bathroom ! that was quite a shock since we were just arrived. Fortunately our taxi driver was a really good person and he willingly took us back to the airport and my sister was informed that she could get her phone back after 30 minutes. so we decided we went to our hotel first to unpack and shalat, then we went back to the airport to get my sister cellphone. it was so clumsy of her, that made me mad because we waste 2 hour just to look after her cellphone. 

after that we went to Orchad district and went shopping ! i got a really cute wallet there.. hehe... and that night we decided to have dinner at Clark Quay. It's our first time to Clark Quay and we don't really know the restaurant there, so we just went to the first restaurant we saw that we thought the appearance was good.. the food was western food, it was delicious and the view was amazing ! :)

The next day, my sister and i already planed that we should go to Universal Studio Singapore that morning. So we went to Sentosa island that morning through the Sentosa Express. We arrived around 8 am and it was raining in sentosa !! we checked the Universal Studio, but it's still closed ! i'm kinda angry with my sister, because she told me that we should go in the morning, but anyway we decided to take photos and goes around the island. and we were hungry because we didn't have any breakfast, so we went to a restaurant and had breakfast there, and after that we went to Universal Studio...

My Happy Holiday ! :D (Hanging out with some friends)

Hey all, now i wanna share another story about my happy holiday.. in the previous blog, i told you about some computer games that i played a lot during my holiday, well i didn't spent all of my holiday to play some computer games i also hanging out and meet some of my friends !

every time i have a holiday at home i always want to hang out and meet my friends.. well you see, i happened to be studying in Solo (a city in middle java, near jogja) while some of my friends go to university in Jakarta, so i haven't meet them for a long time. therefore, if i have holidays, i want to spent some time with my friends :)

Last holiday i went with some friends from my previous High School (SMAN 8 Jakarta). They are my 3rd year classmates. we were friends not only because we were in the same class, but also because we all like Korean stuff ! we all like Kpop and Kdrama, that's why sometime we called our self "geng korea ceria" hehe..

usually we would go to a karaoke place where they have all Korean songs, but not this time. Last holiday we went to a new mall called "Gandaria City", it's far from my home but that's allright because i will meet my friends :) But when we all gather, there would be something we do about Korean stuff, that time we went to a restaurant there called ccozi and friends. That is a restaurant that serve Korean snack food and they have a TV screen that showed recorded Korean music shows ! what a heavenly place for some girls that loves Korean stuff ! :)  we spent like 3 hours eat some snack, watched the show, and just chatt and have fun ! we even left a drawing at the chalk board there (it actually used to write our impression about the restaurant). That was really fun, and i would go there again with my friends...

Last holiday, i also hung out with my friends from my elementary school.. we were friends for a long time since we were in Elementary School, we still keep in touch with each other until now. So, last holiday we decided to hang out together, but it's sad two of my friends could not make it :(

when i hang out with my Elementary School friends, we can't just stay in one place we will go from one place to another from noon until night. especially, one of them brought a car so basically we can go anywhere we want to. But on the negative side, my parents always get angry at me because when i with my Elementary School friends, i will ended being home late at night. 

Last holiday, we met first at our Elementary School (SD Kepodang) like we always do, then we went to Plaza Indonesia, then we crossed the street and went to Grand Indonesia, right there we met with one of our friend and had some lunch, after that we went to Kemang to have dinner, we also met with one of our friend but sadly he could't come with us because he have a plan with his friends. So, we continue our journey to hang out at coffee shop, we went to Bakoel Coffee in Cikini, and sadly my father called me and told me to go home, so my friends drop me off my home after that.. it's already like 11.30 that night and as you may thought, yes my parents got angry that night. But i had so much fun with them, can you imagine, from our Elementary School in Menteng to PI and GI in Thamrin to Kemang and then went to Cikini ! I always have a fun tour around Jakarta when i hung out with my Elementary School friends :)

My Happy Holiday ! :D (Playing computer games !! )

I'd like to share some stories about my recent holiday (well, it's kinda late but it's alright hehe) i had my end of semester holiday from 15 of january until february 13, most of the time i spent at home just watched TV, or played computer games. i can only play computer games at home (since my laptop doesn't have CD/DVD drive, thus it can't install CD games) so every time i'm home i always play at least one computer game until it finished. (playing computer games is my hobby ! hehe) 

The game type that i like the most is mystery game and hidden object game. I like time management game too but it took a lot of time to finished it (because it usually has 50 or more levels). I finished some games during my holiday, but the game that i remembered the most is "Nancy Drew : Secrets Can Kill Remastered" and "Women's Murder Club : Little Black Lies" there's a reason for it.

first is "Nancy Drew : Secrets Can Kill Remastered", 

i was really looking forward to it because i'm a nancy drew fans and since it was remastered version i had high hopes about it. but when i played it i was really disappointed ! unlike the other Nancy Drew games, it's quite easy and took little time to finished it. so i remembered it because it really disappointed me. :(

the other one was "Women's Murder Club : Little Black Lies" 

unlike Secrets can kill, i remembered this game because i really loved it ! the story line was good, the puzzles good, the hidden object game part was good, and the ending was good to ! And also when the game was finished there was some extra part called prologue, and it was really interesting ! well i'd give A+ to this game because it made my holiday more fun :D

i'm sorry if i sound like a game review blog, but the games was part of my Holiday so i'd like to share the story hehe... but there's more stories about my Happy Holiday... :)

Cardio oh cardio....

As you all may know, i'm currently studying medical at Sebelas Maret University, Solo and i'm in my 2nd year. Here, we study per-"blok" and now i'm studying blok called "Kardiovaskular" (or in english it's Cardiovascular hehe) this "blok" is really making me nervous ! because it's really hard and we don't have much time to study it ! (because we only given 1 moth per-blok). Furthermore, many of my seniors failed this "blok" and had to repeat this year ! they said Cardio is really really hard.... :(

haaaaaaa... i feel like crying inside :'''(

but oh well, i want to be a doctor, and i have to through this in order to become a doctor.... so i guess i just have to study more harder than before and pray a lot too... i really hope i passed this "blok" with an A...

there's new sushi restaurant in solo ! (it's the first in town actually) it's called "sushi donburi". As soon as i heard sushi i can't wait any longer to try one ! So earlier today, i went to Solo Square and bought salmon baked sushi and shrimp sushi...

hello everyone ! i'm Nadhira Puspita Ayuningtyas, currently studying medical at Sebelas Maret University, Solo. i actually live in Jakarta, but now i stayed in Solo until my study is finished. well, i just started this blog, thus i'm a newbie in "blog's world" hehe..


i named this blog "One Teaspoon of Affection", why? because i really like the word "Affection". in dictionary it means "feeling of love"; "fondness" it's like another word of love that's why i really like it. and just even one teaspoon of love from somehing or someone you care about is precious and makes you happy right? that's why i named this blog "One Teaspoon of Affection". this blog maybe provide just one teaspoon of affection, but can makes people happy (well, i hope so.. hehe) 


that's enough introduction, i hope you really enjoy my story on my blog :)
